Quiet
Myk, Cassie and Audrie moved out last weekend. They went to live with some friends in Hazel Dell. It is very quiet in my house. Minnie is mopey. While I miss Audrie, it was time for this move. Myk and Cassie need to learn to stand on their own two feet and that wasn't really happening with them living with parents. I'm sure I will still see lots of Sweet Pea.

The Pearl
Elizabeth and I went to the Pearl District in Portland to do a little shopping. We visited Fez Studio and said hi to Fez. He pointed us in the direction of Cupcake Jones. We each had a chocolate cupcake and both agreed that they were not worth the $3.25 that they charged. It was a cute little hole in the wall place though. Then we went to the Swahili store and it is in the process of closing. We each found a little goody. Then it was off to Table La Sur, which is a wonderful kitchen store. Who knew there were so many things you could buy for a kitchen. We had a blast looking around. From there we went to Anthropology. It was okay, but the clothes were too spendy. Powell's held our attention for awhile. We managed to not buy any books though. We decided that we may do that again on our next Thursday.

Audrie
So Audrie has discovered that she can suck her toes. So she was doing that and I grabbed the camera. I just missed the moment when the toe was in her mouth. So I sat there for a good ten minutes more waiting for another shot. She must have known it and wouldn't repeat it. Anyway take my word for it that she sucks toes.
Here is a picture of the quilt that Aunt Cris made for Audrie. We put up the portable playpen for Audrie to sleep in and the quilt fits it very nice.

Les Schwab
It was time for a tire rotation on the Mini. So Audrie and I went to Les Schwab to get that done. They weren't busy at all but we did have to wait a few minutes. While we were waiting another Mini came in for new tires. So I am watching and one of the employees grabs my key and heads out to the other Mini. He was in it for awhile and then got out and I could tell he was a tad confused. As he approached the front door he must have looked at the paperwork and realized he had the wrong Mini. He got in my car and did his thing with my tires. Afterwards I asked him if it threw him when my key wouldn't start the other one. He said yes....mine is not an actual key and the other one took a key. He did dismantle mine to get to my key for the door but it didn't work either. Anyway he said they almost never have two Minis in the parking lot at once. Guess not in Battle Ground. There aren't very many of them in our town.

Max
Here is Max. He is about nine months old. Isn't he a big boy? That is a polite way of saying he is a fat boy.
Audrie is Growing
Audrie is now four months old. She is working on being able to roll over by herself. She can do it if she has someone to push off of. Today she wanted her binkie with was too far for her to reach and she inched herself to it. Then she continued on and inched almost a foot before she got tired. Almost mobile. We better think about baby-proofing the house.
Saturday
Saturday was our date with Elizabeth. We went and saw "Alice in Wonderland". Everyone said the 3D effects were no where near as good as "Avatar". I didn't see "Avatar" so I have no comparison. That said I also realized that 3D is wasted on me with my eye problem. The glasses wigged out my bad eye and made it not so good. Anyway I thought the movie itself was very good and will watch it again when it comes out on DVD.
After the movie we went up to Thai Lotus for dinner. We met David, Emma and Brendan there. Brendan wasn't sure that David would show up, but we knew he would. I included a picture of the curry salmon because it looked beautiful. We had a lovely meal even if there was a mix-up with my pad thai. The company was divine and we had a good time.

Girls
It seems to be a girl weekend. Adrianna spent the night Thursday so Tanya and Elizabeth could go to a comedy show. Then Elizabeth spent the night Friday and is going to the movies and out to dinner with us tonight.

Nature
I saw a coyote this morning. It crossed the road in front of me and then waited for me to get closer before it ventured off into the woods. It looked pretty healthy. It is probably one of the ones I hear in the middle of the night.
