Click on the picture to make it larger and you can see the birds better. Anyway....My uncle Glen said he came home one day to the farm and my grandmother was just so happy. She told him that she had two big pretty birds in the cow pasture. They didn't used to be there. Those birds are sand hill cranes and they are big. They make a great rolling r sound. They dance and flap their wings. Glen said they are pretty destructive to fields. That may be true, but they sure are fun to watch and listen to.
