Not Just Rain

When it rains it pours.  Not only is Dave really sick, but so is my friend Karen.  She lost a kidney last year to kidney cancer.  It came back in the spring of this year.  And while they kept telling her they got it, she just knew something wasn't right.  She finally convinced them to look and they found it had metastasized to her liver and her lymph nodes.  She has a good attitude.  Plans on spending her time with her family and getting all her ducks in a row.  Looking for the silver lining because what else can you do at that point.
