I have quit fighting it. I now play the radio station playing holiday music. I got my first xmas card in the mail today. Yes, today, and it isn't even Thanksgiving yet.
I am in the process of making pies for tomorrow. We will have a big crowd of ten this year. It is a lot more than the last several years. Doesn't make any difference to me. The meal is still one of the easiest to fix and so I have to peel a couple extra taters.
