Mom and I went to Portland on Saturday to the Saturday Market down under the Burnside bridge. Well it isn't really under the bridge anymore...more in the park across the street with the fountain. We had a great time looking at all the artists' wares. We usually go to the Home and Garden Show and buy our birthday presents there, but this year we decided to do this instead. So Mom got a beautiful stained glass to hang in her window. It is brilliantly red. I got a basket from Africa to haul my produce up from the garden. Supposedly this can be sprayed with the hose and be just fine. We ate mediocre food. She had a flavorless gyro and I had Americanized pad thai. We watched the people and met dogs. We watched some street performers and I contributed to their hat.
After that we went and visited my friend Brendan at Fez Studio to brighten his day. We showed him all our goodies and then mom bought something from him. It was a very nice day.
