A Walk

Every time I ask the kids if they want to take a walk they turn me down.  Now last year they loved it. This year they have other things they would love to do.  Well I want the walk.  So I walked to care house and picked them up.  They had no choice but to walk home with me.  Took me fifteen minutes to walk there.  Took us 35 minutes to walk back.  Connor needed a break.  Then I remembered last year he was still in the stroller.  So he did good with his mile walk.  One little break two blocks from home and he walked the whole way.  After we got started neither one complained.  They pointed things out along the way.  It was a good walk.
