Finally a Playground
Every time I have suggested going to a playground they have shot me down. They just want to go home and play with the other neighbor kids in the parking lot. Well today was my turn. Picked them up from care house and then picked up Mom. We went to the Fairgrounds Community Park. I have been wanting to check it out ever since I read about it. I wanted to see that rope climb thing.
And they loved it. Connor had no fear and climbed right to the top. We played for two hours. And it was good play. Good to be outside when it wasn't so hot. It was a beautiful day and lovely in the shade. It was kind of funny when Grammy wanted to ride on the whirly thing and then she slid off onto the ground. You have to hang on good.
After the park we went out for dinner with Grammy. They were the best behaved they have been in a restaurant in a long time. I think they were wore out. And they were hungry. All their dinner got ate. Mom wanted to pop into Albertsons for a few things. And about that time the food hit their systems and they weren't so well behaved at the store. But we made it out in one piece and didn't lose anyone.
All in all a good outing and the littles apologized without encouragement for making me mad in the store.
