The little woman did not want to do anything with friends for her birthday. Marti offered to throw a little private party and she jumped on that offer. So after work/care house we went over. Marti had put up decorations and bought a pizza. We brought the cake. They danced, played games, ate pizza, ate cake, and opened presents. We did have a little meltdown in the middle, but once we were past it all was well. The best gifts were the Barbie dog that poops and the scooter she got from her brother.
We sure feel blessed and appreciate having Marti as our friend. She got the biggest hugs when it was time for us to leave. The little man even had to get back out of the car to give her another one.
