This is how we ring in summer. We spent two hours at the park running through the fountain and swinging on the tire swing. It was a perfect afternoon.
We topped it off with Happy Meals and then root beer floats. Summer Solstice is always root beer float days. And it was worth the wait. Poor little man wanted one as soon as we had bought the root beer and ice cream when we went grocery shopping over the weekend.
Welcome summer and all it brings. It will be busy and it will be fun.
