Before we started the celebration for Pat, we went to the Farmer's Market. The littles played on the playground for two hours. That was a lot of energy burnt. The little woman even found someone to play with. The little man found someone from his class to play with. I thought that was pretty amazing. He is in a class of seven. So what are the odds of him running into a classmate anywhere?
Then we went to Pat's house. Left the little man there while I collected the cakes, Mom and dinner.
Pat wanted Chinese food. He got a wonderful German Chocolate cake and the non-coconut eaters got just a normal chocolate cake.
As he pulled his presents out of the group gift bag he asked if he had told me a tropical shirt. He had not, but I thought it a great idea anyway. And it went with the quick dry shorts. I was thinking ahead for those days in Maui. He also got a new pair of Levi's and the t-shirt he wanted. He had sent me a link for it back in January. He said it was from his favorite movie, "The Road Warrior". He was happy with his celebration.
Then the little man spent the night and they were going to play Rust.
