Sunday Outing

We drove over to the transit center at PIR and rode MAX downtown.  Ventured over to the Rose Festival City Fair.  Betty gave us pins to get in so we utilized them.  We saw lots of people, the floats from the parade and the wild animals.  Audrie figured out that rides are meant to be rode, so this was probably the last time we were able to put that off.  This year Audrie was most interested in the snakes at the wild animal exhibit..  She wanted to hold them.
Then we made our way over to the river to see the ships.  Well that was the biggest disappointment ever.  You can't walk along the river where the ships are because it is all fenced off.  Heightened security or something.  So you can't see the ships.  We remember way back when when you could almost touch the ships if you leaned over the concrete wall.  Anyway, then we rode MAX back to the truck.  Went to Elmers and had dinner.
Tidbits...how did she know to check the change box of the pay phone?  She doesn't even know about pay phones.  We didn't catch her on camera when she pulled the phone down on her head.
Thanks again Betty for the outing.
