Rose's and Haircuts
It is Mom's birthday today. So we decided to take her out to Rose's Restaurant for cheese blintzes. And the blintzes were divine. I saw Mr. Huddleston and was able to thank him in person for the lunch he bought for me back in Feb when he ran into our Friday lunch group. His son is in Barb's pre-school class. And he raved about her today. The only down side to our dinner was the little's dessert. The kids' meal was to include a cookie or a mini cupcake. The waitress brought normal cupcakes and charged us. When I pointed it out she commented they were out of the mini cupcakes. I commented back that that is what we thought we were ordering. I may have to send an email to Mr. Huddleston.
On the way to the restaurant Mom was commenting again on needing her hair cut. So after dinner we stopped at Great Clips and got cuts. They were on sale....always a good time to get a cut. Well Audrie wanted hers cut also. So I let her. And it is so cute. And her hair is so much redder now. Guess getting rid of all the sun bleached hair did that. Should be easier to take care of and look better through the day. She wasn't too keen on her long hair being braided or put up in a ponytail. Connor was looking shaggy and now looks presentable again.
It was a great evening. Happy birthday Mom.
