I learned a lot when Audrie had speech therapy. And now I watch and listen to Connor and sit in amazement. Language is coming so easy to him. Yes, there are times when Audrie still has to interpret for me, but mostly he is amazing. He speaks in long sentences. He counts.
The thing that is striking me right now is his use of descriptive words that place things. On, under, over, etc. He uses these with complete ease and I never showed him. I never taught him. I just talk to him. Like I did his daddy. This was the last thing we were working with Audrie in speech therapy.
He is amazing and I'm glad that he gets some things that are just easy after his hard start.
