Mother's Day

A fine day it was.  I got greetings from Mike and Doug and Kristie.  We all got to talk to Cassie this morning.  Still sounds funny when Audrie calls me Mom and tells me something about Mommy. The littles gave me a paper plate bouquet and a picture coaster.  Mom and Pat came over for bbq.  We had New York Steaks, Yukon gold grilled potatoes, cauliflower, pineapple and sourdough bread.  I actually did a fine job on cooking tonight.  Sometimes when you don't do something (like bbq) for awhile it may take a couple of tries to get the touch back.  This time the potatoes and the steaks were perfect.  Connor even ate steak.  Not Audrie naturally.  And now I think it is time for baths and soon for bed.  A new week begins again tomorrow.
