Today was my mom's 75th birthday. The littles and I took a cake to share and everyone in the cottage really enjoyed it. We were thanked several times. The facility gave her a mini bottle of apple cider and balloons. We gave her socks (which she constantly needs) and some little diamond earrings. She had asked for some. We managed to get them in her ears. She insisted she was wearing them before she ate cake. And then we had the scrumptious cake. The littles were on their best behavior and actually gave kisses and cuddles to Grammy. I think she enjoyed her impromptu party.
