The morning came and the littles waited patiently for me to get up. Then the hunt began. It took them quite awhile to find their baskets and I didn't think the Easter Bunny had hidden them that well.
After that we got dressed and headed to the store. We picked up Mom and went to Pat's house for brunch. He made the bacon and sausage and I did the cheese blintzes. He had pastries and a shrimp platter. We all enjoyed it.
Then we got a text from Chad that he and Ky were almost to our house. So we rushed home and met them. He brought the littles each a basket and an outfit. We sure appreciate him and all he does for us. He is going to make a great grandpa to Ky's kids. In a different world he would have been the littles' grandpa.
The holiday ends with a call from Mommy. Six minutes. Holidays and birthdays.
