The island is still under water. Since camping was out there and we could not find any other reservable places...we stayed home. Decided today was a good day to BBQ. We had burgers and then fresh strawberry shortcake for dessert. First shortcake of the season and it was delicious. The little man just ate strawberries and the little woman ate one and said they were too sour.....wait, what?
While waiting on the charcoal the little man was his uncle's helper. He is a great screw holder and tool gatherer. Sometimes it is really nice to just have someone grab that tool for you. And the little man soaks it all in.
My brother always seems to have interesting projects going on. His friend Don dropped off this Dart for some work. We talked about how I had one, but not like his. Mine was stock and sits in a storage unit somewhere in Clark County.
The little man invited himself to spend the night with the uncle. The little woman and I just lazed around. In the quiet.
