STEAM Night
After school and a play session with our old neighbors, we headed back to school. It was STEAM night. We visited the littles' classrooms and saw what they were working on lately. The little man is studying snails and they even had a snail race. He had his first research paper on polar bears and another on sharks to share with me.
The little woman has been doing insects for awhile. Well they had butterflies that you could see the chrysalises hanging from the top of their structure. And then the butterflies had laid eggs on the leaves in it. A great circle for the kids to watch.
Then we moved to the commons where tables of science experiments were set up. The little man liked the laser one and then building with Lego's. She liked the rockets and seeing friends.
They had a great time and I loved seeing all the things they are doing and learning. They only have two more weeks left of this school year.
