We got up and on our way this morning. No fighting. No dilly dallying. Then the train arrived on the other side of the station. We were just standing there waiting. And he came up behind us. The littles ran to him and gave him the biggest hugs possible.
On the way back home the little woman asked him if he was going to get into any more trouble. She told him she didn't want to miss him anymore. It kind of broke my heart, but it is true. I have no idea how it sunk in for Mike.
We managed to get some errands done and some things taken care of for Mike. He needed some shoes. The littles were bickering in the backseat and so Daddy laid down a punishment if they continued. And they did, so he did. Then a little bit later a curse word snuck out of the little man's mouth. So Daddy told him he was having a time out on his bed when we got home. That was a couple of hours later. The little man remembered and went right to his bed when we walked in. Daddy let him out after a couple of minutes.
Always amazes me when they just listen to their parent. Either one.
Now we see what the future brings. I hope for good things.
