I have never been to a high school graduation party before. They are traditional in the Midwest. So my cousin Lanny's daughter graduated this year. So Megan had her party. It was hot and humid and a lot of people still showed up. I stayed a good long while talking to my cousins.
Megan is going to go to St. Cloud Tech in the fall. Her goal is to become a paramedic. She isn't sure how it is going to work since she still has to work. She moved in with her brother and his girlfriend so she has rent to pay. We just told her to hold the dream, work when you need, take as many classes as you can. And if it takes three years to do the program, it takes three years. It will be worth it. I think she will be fine. She is a very motivated young woman.
And for me, it was good visiting with the cousins and hearing more stories.
