Welcome to Ohio

I had a nice drive to Ohio today with a couple of nice rain showers.  The kind that almost make you pull over because you can't see.  I was following a truck so I figured I was good as long as I could see his taillights.
I missed a turn and then my phone got mad and quit giving me directions.  So I pulled off and redid it.  I had went a ways north.  But not horribly.  I was still at Leo's by 3.  Met Eleanor who promply took advantage of being outside to go exploring.
Once the dog came back we went on our own exploring trip.  Visited an Amish store and bought fudge.  Whoa.  It tasted just like Granny's and Mom's.  And I didn't have to share it with anyone.  we drove around and looked at the sights.  Stopped at The Hiram Inn to pick up my room key.  What a lovely charming place.  We had dinner at a local place and then back to Leo's.  Petted Eleanor a little more.  Leo gifted me some chocolates from a local place and some local maple syrup.
Leo told me that his area has the fourth largest Amish community.  So it was kind of cool seeing the horses and buggies.  Those horses prance when they get going.  It will be interesting to see more tomorrow.
