A Tree
My intention was to go to the home and garden show and buy two trees. I wanted a Coral Bark Japanese Maple for Papa's tree and I wanted a star magnolia. I came home with neither. First the only magnolias I saw were the tulip kind. I love them, but they have a tendency to get bigger than I wanted. And I have taken a shine to the star ones. I found the coral bark maples right off the bat. Didn't want to buy right away so I perused the rest of the show. After I had bought a jasmine I discovered these Dancing Peacock Japanese Maples. The tree doesn't get as big as the coral bark. It is suppose to have exquisite fall color and the leaves are unique. We love unique. Debated for about five minutes and went with the dancing peacock. I also found a hanging basket for Mom for her birthday. All in all a good day at the home and garden show.
