Hooky

I can't figure it out.  Lots of mornings the little woman goes through a dance of "I don't want to go to school".  Sometimes only until the bus passes and then she is fine if I drive her.  Sometimes it continues all the way to school and beyond. 
Every reason that she tells me doesn't fly.  Brandon on the bus sits behind her and picks on her.  Well when I talked to the bus driver....Brandon sits in the very front and she is four seats back.  Nope.  She tells me how mean the teacher is.  She gets in trouble a lot.  And I will bring this up next week at conference.  But when I ask her how her day is at the end of the day....it is just fine.  So I'm just lost as to what is up. 
Today I just opted to not deal with it.  Tomorrow I will be right back on the "you are going to school" band wagon.  So I let her play hooky. 
We did a little shopping.  We went and visited Grammy.  We took the old mini Ipad in to have the screen fixed.  Then when we got it back it seems to have more problems.  Hoping it is just needing a break in from all the new glue.  Otherwise I probably wasted that money on fixing the screen.
She actually was discreet and didn't tell her brother that she got the day off.  She just enjoyed the day together and he enjoyed the day at school. 
Just hope I figure this out soon because it really is annoying to go through it most mornings.
