I was able to make that chicken into at least two meals. A big pot of chicken noodle soup was made today. Remember we had had this chat and no one else in the house was going to eat chicken. Well the little man had two big bowls of the soup. And there is enough leftover for dinner tomorrow.
There was also enough stock and chicken to put in the freezer to become chicken and dumplings another day. It will be so easy. Thaw, thicken the stock and make the dumplings. Easy peasy.
So due to a YouTube video...the littles will now not eat Chicken McNuggets. It is not necessarily a bad thing as fast food isn't that good for you. However, that said, my picky eater pretty much only ate McNuggets as her meat. The rest of her protein is coming from milk products and other non meat foods. She is growing and is healthy so I try not to worry about it too much. I don't eat a lot of meat myself. But I have noticed that since they quit the McDonald's, she has been eating more sausage. Go figure. I think she is a natural eater and her body tells her when to eat a more substantial amount of protein.
