What to do when you have several hours between kids going to school and work. Shop of course. Stopped at the local Walmart to get new shoes for the little man. He is just going through shoes and it doesn't matter if I buy more expensive ones elsewhere. He is using his shoes as brakes on his bike. And there is no convincing him not to. Found a pair of boots for the little woman that are just cute.
After visiting Mom I still had time, so I went to Kohl's. I have my high school reunion coming up soon and I live in jeans and tshirts. That will not do at the country club. So I found some nice black slacks and a black tunic with coppery embroidery. Went to look at their boots and the only ones that would work were $100. I don't think so.
So that put me at another Walmart and I got a pair in my size just like the ones I bought for the little woman. Hopefully it all looks as cute as I think it will. And I already know the boots will be cute on her. Everything is cute on her. ;p
